What Does The Bible Teach About Black Lives Matter? (Part 7)

II Timothy 4:1-5

“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”

People have forgotten that God created mankind to serve and worship Him as we bring Him pleasure with our lives. Sin has created a type of amnesia for God. We see this as early as the Garden of Eden when Adam hid from God whom is everywhere. In his sin amnesia, he forgot that he is unable to hide from God. We have all adopted that mindset from Adam and for that cause we all have a sin nature as recorded in Romans 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” So according to the bible, we have a perpetual desire to increase in ungodliness in our quest to be our own god.

The Black Lives Matter Movement is a movement that has been recently brought to the surface to assist in granting equality to all blacks and their freedom, pursuit to life liberty and justice. However, many people fail to do their research about this institution and blindly follow it. In doing research I have discovered that this organization is against the principles in the bible and promotes a “Sodom and Gomorrah” culture. I will share what they teach and how it lines up with biblical teachings. Join us as we tackle a very controversial subject; what the bible teaches about The Black Lives Matter Movement.

Disclaimer: In my research, I will share direct quotes from the website of the black lives matter movement and passages from the King James Version of The Bible. I make no apologies for my views and my Christian heritage and background. My intent is to give the facts about this institution and allow the readers to draw their own conclusions and inferences from there. Any opinions or statements aren’t intended to cause damage to this institution but to “as they indicate” raise public awareness.”

WHAT IS BLACK LIVES MATTER?

XII. Guiding Principle Number 12 (EMPATHY“We are committed to practicing empathy; we engage comrades with the intent to learn about and connect with their contexts.” This tells us that the BLM movement is committed to practicing the ability to understand and share the feelings of others in situations. This is definitely not true! Why? Because each and every day the members of the movement and it’s followers talk about how the police don’t care. Empathy says that I don’t agree with the way in which it was handled but I understand why it was done. I will attempt to see it from the other person’s point of view. The fact that many BLMers protest and riot in the streets chanting “What Do We Want? Dead COPS!” Is this empathy or is this retaliation?

XIII. Guiding Principle Number 13 (INTERGENERATIONAL“We are committed to fostering an intergenerational and communal network free from ageism. We believe that all people, regardless of age, shows up with capacity to lead and learn.” This is yet another failure on the part of the BLM movement. When we look at the BLMers that protest, riot and lute we see the ages range from 15-50. There seems to be no mature men over the age of 50 out there with the members of this movement. Why? Could it be that they see a more important way to handle these issues than fighting and acting irresponsible? It seems to me that younger people that have anger issues want to use this slogan as an excuse to destroy and cause chaos without the fear of being arrested. If this movement is really intergenerational, then generations of grandfathers, fathers, children and grandchildren would be out there protesting. Do you see this?

XIV. Guiding Principle Number 14 (QUEER AFFIRMING“We are committed to fostering a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking or, rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual unless s/he or they disclose otherwise.” This pretty much sums up what I said back in part 2&3 of my series devotionals. This movement not only supports homosexual agendas but the followers are expected to not display heterosexual behavior unless they choose to display it. I find this very disturbing and utterly repulsive! Young men aren’t really aware of what this movement is about. They blindly follow because it is the newest and greatest fad of the day.

How do we over come this wicked and deceiving movement? We “Preach The Word” of God to these followers and resent it in a way that they can understand. Why? “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” The sound doctrine today is peace but they cannot endure it because they have followed their own lusts and heaped or gathered to themselves teachers having itching ears. The BLM movement is a devilish doctrine with teachers that love to talk about themselves and others like themselves “violent people”. They chant “No Justice, No Peace” but the justice that they want is nothing more than a fairy tale! The true justice comes when one submits to the Prince of Peace. How do we submit to the Prince of Peace? “But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” Preach the Bible, Preach the Gospel and Preach the Wonderful Words of Life. That is the way that we do the work of an evangelist and make full proof our ministry. In our next devotional, we will talk about how we, as private citizens, can help this movement and fix the very ill’s in which they seek justice.
