What Does The Bible Teach About Black Lives Matter? (Part 3)

What Does The Bible Teach About Black Lives Matter? (Part 3)

II Timothy 4:1-5

“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”

People have forgotten that God created mankind to serve and worship Him as we bring Him pleasure with our lives. Sin has created a type of amnesia for God. We see this as early as the Garden of Eden when Adam hid from God whom is everywhere. In his sin amnesia, he forgot that he is unable to hide from God. We have all adopted that mindset from Adam and for that cause we all have a sin nature as recorded in Romans 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” So according to the bible, we have a perpetual desire to increase in ungodliness in our quest to be our own god.

The Black Lives Matter Movement is a movement that has been recently brought to the surface to assist in granting equality to all blacks and their freedom, pursuit to life liberty and justice. However, many people fail to do their research about this institution and blindly follow it. In doing research I have discovered that this organization is against the principles in the bible and promotes a “Sodom and Gomorrah” culture. I will share what they teach and how it lines up with biblical teachings. Join us as we tackle a very controversial subject; what the bible teaches about The Black Lives Matter Movement.

Disclaimer: In my research, I will share direct quotes from the website of the black lives matter movement and passages from the King James Version of The Bible. I make no apologies for my views and my Christian heritage and background. My intent is to give the facts about this institution and allow the readers to draw their own conclusions and inferences from there. Any opinions or statements aren’t intended to cause damage to this institution but to “as they indicate” raise public awareness.”

VII. Guiding Principle Number 7 (BLACK WOMEN“We are committed to building a Black women affirming space free from sexism, misogyny, and male‐centeredness.”  I will admit that there is sexism in the workplace and in corporate America when it comes to women in the workforce. This is an issue that needs to be addressed gender wide. Most businesses area firm proponent of hiring the best overall person for the job. This includes: job credentials, employment history, criminal record, financial records and not to mention off-work character content. The last one is what gets people into trouble. If you are an applicant, black or any other race, and you are what the bible calls a reviler then there is a strong possibility that you will not be offered employment. If you are qualified for the position in all of the aforementioned areas except for the last area mentioned earlier, then you were not discriminated against, that is a wise employer. If the employer does a Facebook search of your name on social media and find that you are an argumentative person or have very poor chooses in social activities they will probably not choose you. If your life evolves around social media and you fail to control emotional posts and your choice or words then you’ve made the employers job very easy. The bible gives us practical advice about our communication and our attitudes; 1 Corinthians 15:33 “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” When one speaks improperly, it usually isn’t long before they act improperly. Let’s learn how to be respectful of each other, respectful of ourselves and teach our posterities the value of mutual respect. A man will NEVER respect a woman unless He knows God and unless he has been taught to show proper respect to women. Today’s music doesn’t help women to be respected as the bible tells us: 1 Peter 3:7
“Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.”

VIII. Guiding Principle Number 8 (BLACK VILLAGES “We are committed to disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, and especially “our” children to the degree that mothers, parents and children are comfortable.” First of all, there is no Western-prescribed nuclear family structure. There is a God ordained family structure that has existed for over 6,000 years. When one seeks to dissolve the successful principles of God they risk creating a society that dishonors parents, disrespects authority and despises people in God given roles of leadership. When a child is born, that child needs both parent in order to survive and be supported. Any and all institutions that seek to disband this very simple element of human existence seeks to destroy the home and dishonor God. Don’t believe me? Look into the animal kingdom. Swans, pigeons, geese and morning doves mate for life and both share parental responsibilities while remaining non-violent and productive animal in our eco-system. I will caution all reading this devotional about the dangers of not having a mother and father. This destroys a vital and essential element of development. Proverbs 29:15 “The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.” According to this verse, and the BM movement, and their desire to destroy the family and authority I ask these questions:

  1. If there aren’t parental figures “Who’s in charge?”
  2. Who’s responsible to God for their spiritual development?
  3. Who is going to teach that young man how to be a man and not a objector?
  4. Who is going to teach that young lady how to be a woman that honors authority?

I have received hate mail from a few people in this movement or sympathetic to it because of my desire to expose a corrupt, racist, hateful and violent organization. This will not deter my pursuit to put God’s Word out to a lost and dying world. I don’t take offense to anyone that sends me hate mail or death threats. I am nothing this because I want to cause controversy and be seen on TV or media. In fact, I don’t care if my post get attention at all. I do this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his commission to provide the gospel of His love. He says in Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” This means that The Creator of The Universe loved, all who read this, so much that He sent His Son down to die in your place so you don’t have to conform to an evil system. Eternity is a breath away but Jesus is near now. In tomorrows devotional we will talk about how The BLM movement wants to destroy America. Join us again as we address real life issues with biblical answers on Worship With Willie.
